Gundam Anniversary Website Celebrates 35 Years!

Today in one hour on the anniversary website an new announcement will be broadcast live at 5:00pm JST (1:00am PST). There have been many speculations of what is to come for this announcement that include; the upcoming Gundam: The Origin anime, Creator Yoshiyuki Tomino's new anime (G-Reko or collaboration project with Legacy Effects), but we will just have to see when the announcement is made. The announcement is from sunrise who of course be the studio animating the upcoming gundam anime.

For those of you who were not aware Bandai did confirm back in July of 2013 that Tomino's newest anime work will be released as a part of the 35th anniversary of the Gundam franchise in 2014 to 2015 as well as the Gundam: The Origin anime adaptation.

I have never seen Gundam Izuru-san, what is it about? Great question! I love to tell people about this franchise any chance I get because it is the series that got me into anime when I was younger. Anyway, The Gundam Series is a metaseries of space opera anime created by Sunrise studios that features giant robots (or "mecha") called "Mobile Suits" (MS); usually the protagonist's MS will carry the name Gundam. The metaseries started on April 7, 1979, as a serial TV show called Mobile Suit Gundam. That first TV series has since spawned a franchise that has come to include works released in numerous media. Titles have appeared in the form of multiple television series and OVAs, movies, manga, novels and video games, among other modes. Out of the many series that have spawned from the original is one that is not appreciated enough among the gundam fanbase; Gundam Seed (NOT DESTINY!!!).

Well everyone Ill give you an update once the announcement has been made, so look out for that post every so often!
